Emperor: Battle For Dune on Windows 10?

I'm having some difficulty installing Emperor: Battle for Dune on my Windows 10 x64 Pro pc. I know it's not Command and Conquer, but it's a Westwood rts so i was hoping this sub could shed some light. I've heard of it running fine on win 8.1 and don't think 10 is a wildly different platform.

Autorun loads the splash screen, but setup never executed. Tried running setup as admin, in compatibility mode for XPsp2/3, Win 98, and 7. Also tried running in 16 bit color and low resolution, nothing seems to work.

Has anyone had any success installing/running this on Win 10 x64? If so any advice would be appreciated!
