I plan to travel Quebec City this weekend with my MIO C520GPS. My GPS is working fine but the map is really outdated. I know the device can be unlocked for downloading new maps.
But I don't know what is the easiest way to do so.
Well, I understand there is a search function, and there is google, and there is a long thread for this GPS in the expire forum. But my search has given me too much information and I really can't digest all of them in a short time. Plus most of the information is quite outdated. I don't need all the fancy functions, just need the basic GPS function with newer maps. Of course, if I can get a better navigation software without much extra effort, it does not hurt to try it. If some one has experience or knowledge about it can suggest a easy method to unlock and provide any information on where we can find the newest stable map, that will be great. A link would be very useful.
